I tried drawing my sister a long time ago, and it didn't come out very good. And though this one is much better, it's still not quite the quintessential "Kirsten". I think that I will have a much harder time drawing her seeing as I will be more critical about the outcome. I have known her all of her life, and therefore, anything short of exacting detail would be an injustice to her in my mind. But I chose this picture to draw of her because it wasn't posed - as are so many of our family photos. She had just gotten back from Paris, and was rushing into my parent's arms at the airport. The look of elation is what really sold me on it.
