Puffers Path

"Puffers Bridge"

Whereas there are many people who know about (and swim in) Puffer's Pond in Amherst, MA, there are considerably fewer folks who know about the other gems that that location has to offer. One of which is Silver Bridge - which is a (thankfully) little known swimming hole up the road that is quiet, secluded and small, and another is this walking bridge which spans the tributary to the pond. You can't really see this from the road, so not a lot of people visit it - just those folks who are out for a short hike, or out walking their dogs - like the woman in this photo! Betcha didn't see her. I know she's there and I have a hard time finding her :)
